Copies of my new book What's Up, MuMu? were delivered the other day. The courier said that I could just use my finger to sign for them. I chose my index finger, right hand. And like magic, they were mine.
The Little Shop is open…
The Profusely Illustrated Little Shop is now open for business. There's a selection of limited edition screen prints and risographs that you can have for your very own. I'll even write on them in real handwriting.
Due to postage restrictions we can only take orders from the UK, but hope this will change in the near future. There is a flat fee of £4 for postage and handling on all items.
We will soon be offering signed copies of all the picture books!
Please leave wet umbrellas in the elephant's foot at the door.
I'll be in my trailer…
View the What's Up MuMu? trailer. Be patient, it's always better when you're patient.
I'd like a room without a bath…
Mere window dressing…
Foam-board cutouts of characters from What's Up, MuMu? have arrived. They are light, bright and in two window-friendly sizes: grande and regular. Their names are printed on the back too.
If you have a bookshop and would like to borrow them for your front window, let me know. The book is published August this year.
Characters in window are closer than they appear.
Barnes Children's Literature Festival or bust…
This Saturday there's a book festival in Barnes. There's a lot of good people talking about books, writing and illustrating, amongst other things. I'll be reading LUCKY and talking about making a book, and drawing, and planes, and there will be a lucky dip at the end. So please go to Gate SW13 as boarding will commence shortly.
Above and beyond…
The top half of the London Book Fair.
Keep Off the Grass…
More spring.
Very spring
There is a lot of spring near my house.
The solar eclipse on both sides of the cloud…
This morning's solar eclipse came and went behind thick grey cloud. In my street it was quite dark and odd for an hour or so from 8.30, and birds were tweeting. There wasn't a pinhole in sight though.
